Rosemary Huggins wins best dissertation for Cancer Biology

Rosemary Huggins, advisor Geoffrey Greene, won the best dissertation award for 2022-2023 from the Committee on Cancer Biology.  She studies the effects of an estrogen receptor mutation that commonly occur in metastatic breast cancer in order to determine how it contributes to resistance to standard-of-care endocrine therapy. Rosie is continuing her research as a postdoctoral scholar at UChicago.
