The BSD is preparing to move into phase 2 of the research resumption plan, tentatively in mid-June. On June 3rd, Dr. Geoffrey Greene released a statement of BSD implementation guidelines.
Researchers will be expected to maintain social distancing practice, remaining at lease 6' part and keeping masks on at all times. PIs are being asked to develop plans for resuming operations in how their teams will follow the safety guidlines put out by the University and the BSD. All researchers will also be asked to complete a biosafety training module and limit shifts to two people at a time.
